I love hosting parties in my home, but I just don't have the time to plan them anymore. About a year ago, I started working with a party planner to get things organized for the parties that I throw. It is amazing how much a party planner can do for you. When I did plan my own parties, I didn't have the time to compare rates for different services so I ended up paying more than I had to. If you have never hired a party planner to help you with an event, take a minute to read through my blog to find out how beneficial it is to do so.
Karaoke can be a fun and unique way to spice things up at a number of events throughout the year. Here are four times when karaoke just makes sense:
1. It's Someone's Birthday.
Whether it is a child or an adult, birthday parties have to be fun. However, if you don't think outside of the box, things can get a little boring. So, give the traditional birthday party a bit of a spin by adding some singing. Since birthdays are all about celebrating life and being happy, karaoke can help make sure that's exactly what is done. For a kid's birthday, you can make sure to focus on children's songs or songs that are actually sang by other kids. Just make sure they're age-appropriate.
2. New Colleagues at the Office.
Office parties are notoriously known for being uncomfortable, stuffy and boring. But, if you throw some karaoke into the mix, it will help lighten the mood and ensure that everyone has a blast. Often times, colleagues feel awkward around one another because they don't know each other. For that reason, karaoke makes perfect sense, as it is an ideal way for colleagues to easily break the ice with one another and get to know each other better. Who knows it may even boost morale and productivity in the workplace as well.
3. Someone Just Got Engaged.
While most people tend to put the focus on the bachelorette/bachelor parties, the wedding itself and the wedding reception, celebrating the engagement is just as important. A karaoke party is a great way to celebrate him popping the question while having a ton of fun. It allows you, your friends and your loved ones to celebrate together that you said yes.
4. It's the Holidays.
As a general rule, holiday get-togethers take place at someone's home, a bar, a restaurant or a similar venue, depending on how many guests are being accommodated. Cocktails and snacks are common. While people are mingling and enjoying their food and beverages, why not add some excitement to help make the holidays a memorable time. Turning a holiday party into a holiday karaoke party can be a great way to mix things up a bit. Rather than singing current or old hits, focus on Christmas songs that will help everyone at the event get into the spirit of the season.
While you can plan to have a karaoke party, you have to make sure you have the right audio equipment to ensure that it is a true success. Contact a local audio visual rental company, such as Center Stage AV AV Rentals, for more information.Share
